Renovation of Praça da Árvore.  

​

Praça da Árvore is a meeting place in the center of Pouso Alegre that has five corners. Despite its few square meters, it receives many visitors and passers-by during the day.  

​

The architectural project sought to take advantage of its function as a passageway to provide better conditions as a meeting place for people. Under the shade of the tree we can chat with friends or watch time go by.  

​

All measures were adapted to contemporary needs, creating an accessible ramp for the elderly and people with reduced mobility.  

​

None of these operations require a big budget as it's just ordinary masonry work. I took the opportunity to propose that the large 7-meter-high wall be transformed into a support for the work of an urban artist. 

​

The talent of the square to become more pleasant was already there, we just worked to bring out its best version for Pouso Alegre citizens.
